Our Story

Lexify AI was founded by Arman Chowdhury and Saafwan Shadab, friends driven by a shared vision to modernize how humans interact with the law.

Arman is a Law student with experience as an AI Research Expert at a YC-backed AI Research Lab, focused on developing advanced models that can reason through legal information with context and precision.

Saafwan is an Engineering and Economics student at Vanderbilt University who blends a strong technical foundation with product intuition, ensuring Lexify’s systems are both reliable for practitioners and intuitive for students.

Together, they built Lexify AI - a legal intelligence platform that transforms complex cases, contracts, and notes into structured outputs such as summaries, clauses, briefs, and citation-ready insights within seconds. Lexify also functions as a legal reasoning and research engine, capable of analyzing legal questions and documents, extracting arguments, and generating logical responses from official legal databases. Additionally, Lexify AI’s development is being advised by top engineers, dual-licensed lawyers, and managing partners on practicality, compliance, and real-world use.
